I'm inspired by emotions that take over me when I realize the potential of an idea; how much impact it can have when presented and an interesting and effective manner. I always strive to have a conceptual angle to each of my works because it makes them that much more interesting.

Marise Petite and Marise, founded in 1978, operate specialized women's clothing boutiques located in 26 locations in the provinces of Quebec and Nova Scotia. The chain provides one stop shopping in a boutique style environment and pride Themselves on courteous and personalized service combined with a comprehensive collection of women's ready to wear fashion at moderate to better price points.
Designer's task: Create website for a fashion company that would reflect it's boutique style enviroment, that should showcase its understand of high style, and that would position them shoulder to shoulder with other competitors on the Quebec market.
The Flash based interactive website explores the theme of mirrors in fictional literature and folklore. Using Actionscript 3.0, a 3D illusion interface is created, which gives to the piece a feeling of being in a museum. The color theme brings out the element of mystery and the macabre in parallel with unifying the components.
I have worked on a wide range of banner ads. This selection reperesents various promotional and retargetting banner campaings I have done in the past few months for Beyond the Rack.
I have periodically worked on e-mail marketing campaings. Some of exampels provided involved creating an e-mail newsletter from zero: coming up with the concept, finding the right selection of product for a photoshoot, working side by side with the photographer on the composition and feel, retouching the photo, putting together a design in the software, and finally finishing up with HTML version of the newsletter.

Blog illustrations involved creating a graphic that would portray the copywritters' ideas and showcase selected products featured at Beyond the Rack on a selected day. This interactive piece, done in collaboration with Kerri Kenny, focuses on examining the conceptual metaphor of a digital persona. Everyday objects and fashion items are used to mimic the virtual characteristics of the constantly varying online personality. The internet is shown as the real world with multiple layers, because in person we also wear masks just as much.
